Tata Motors Gears Up for 2025–26 with 5 New SUVs – Full Lineup Inside

Tata Motors is preparing to take its SUV game to the next level in India. After establishing a strong position in the electric vehicle market with models like Nexon EV, Tiago EV, and Punch EV, Tata is now focusing on petrol and diesel variants to appeal to a wider audience. Here’s a look at Tata’s upcoming SUV lineup with expected features and launch timelines.

Tata Sierra – Launch by End of 2025

The Tata Sierra is one of the most awaited SUVs from Tata Motors. First showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, the Sierra has been spotted testing multiple times. It is expected to launch by the end of 2025. The SUV will likely offer two engine options – a 1.5-liter tGDi petrol and a powerful 2.0-liter turbo diesel. It promises a good mix of performance, style, and practicality.

Tata Harrier & Safari – Petrol Variants Coming in 2026

Tata is all set to introduce petrol variants of its flagship SUVs – the Harrier and Safari. Both SUVs will be equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. Buyers will get the option of a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. These new variants are expected to hit the market in early 2026, offering a more fuel-friendly option for SUV lovers.

Tata Punch Facelift – New Look in Late 2025

The Tata Punch, one of the best-selling compact SUVs in India, is about to get its first major update. The facelifted model is expected by the end of 2025 and will come with a refreshed design, a bigger 10.25-inch infotainment screen, digital instrument cluster, and better interior finish. However, the engine setup will remain the same.

Tata Nexon Facelift – A Bigger Update in 2027

Tata is also working on a completely refreshed Nexon, likely to launch in 2027. Currently under development with the codename “Garud,” the new Nexon will offer a major design and interior overhaul. While the platform will stay the same, buyers can expect a more modern and premium experience.

With the success of its EV lineup, Tata now aims to strengthen its petrol and diesel SUV offerings. Upcoming models like the Sierra and Harrier petrol will help Tata compete strongly in the compact and mid-size SUV segments, offering more choices for Indian buyers in the coming years.
