PM Scholarship 2025: OBC Students Can Get ₹1.25 Lakh – Apply Before 31 August!

The Central Government is running various schemes to support the education of young students, and one such initiative is the Pradhan Mantri Scholarship Scheme 2025. This scheme is specially designed to provide financial assistance to meritorious OBC students for their further studies. Students who have scored 100% marks in the 10th and 12th board examinations are eligible to benefit from this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

Only OBC category students can apply for this scheme. In addition:

  • The annual income of the student’s parents must be less than ₹2.5 lakh.
  • The student must be studying in Class 9 or Class 11.
  • The school in which the student is studying should have a 100% result record in both Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations.
    Students meeting all these conditions can proceed with the application.

Scholarship Amount

Under this scheme:

  • Class 9 students receive ₹75,000 as scholarship.
  • Class 11 students receive ₹1,25,000 as scholarship.

The amount is directly transferred to the bank account of the selected students, ensuring transparency and ease of access.

How to Apply

The application process for the PM Scholarship Scheme 2025 is simple:

  1. Visit the NSP portal at scholarships.gov.in and register.
  2. Download the NSP OTR app from the Google Play Store.
  3. Complete Aadhaar-based face authentication using the app to generate your One Time Registration (OTR) number.
  4. Provide the mobile number linked with Aadhaar.
  5. If the student is a minor without an Aadhaar card, the Aadhaar of a parent can be used for registration.
