The Central Government has started releasing the ₹1000 monthly installment under the E-Shram Scheme 2025 for registered unorganized sector workers. From 15th July, eligible workers have started receiving the amount directly into their bank accounts through the DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) system. This financial aid aims to support low-income laborers and ensure basic needs are met during tough times.
What is the E-Shram Scheme?
E-Shram is a nationwide initiative by the Ministry of Labour & Employment, designed specifically for workers in the unorganized sector such as construction workers, farm laborers, domestic helpers, street vendors, and more. Under this scheme, registered workers receive a 12-digit unique E-Shram card, which enables them to access various government benefits.

How to Check ₹1000 Payment Status in 2 Simple Steps
- Visit the official E-Shram website and click on “Know Your Payment Status”
- Enter your Aadhaar number or registered mobile number, fill the captcha, and submit
Your screen will display the current status of your payment. You can also confirm by checking SMS alerts, your bank passbook, or net banking account. If it shows Pending or Payment Not Received, contact the E-Shram helpline or visit the nearest CSC center for assistance.
